Adopt-a-Mine
Paul McCartney & Heather Mills McCartney hosted a dinner on September 18 at the Century Plaza Hotel to benefit Adopt-A-Minefield. Jay Leno acted as emcee and Paul McCartney, Chrissie Hynde, Brian Wilson and other musicians performed.
Adopt-A-Minefield has to-date raised $5.5 million for mine clearance of over 3 million square meters of land in 200 communities in six of the most mine-affected countries in the world. This has directly benefited 20,000 people in six mine-affected countries.
The Empty Vase did the centerpieces for the event in a unique design that reflected the spirit of the event.
